It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Gerard Wood of Chase, Kansas, born in Lyons, Kansas, who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Betty Wood and Virgil Wood; and his brother Donald Wood (Carla) of Tulsa, OK.. He is survived by : his wife Rebecca Wood; his children, Nicole Foster (Dennis) of Meade, KS, April Miller (Troy) of Dallas, TX, Lauren Robertson (Jason) of Sedgwick, KS, Nathan Wood (Cherise) of Ellinwood, KS and Nicholas Wood (Amber) of Sterling, KS; his grandchildren, Derek Foster, Domanic Wood, TJ Miller, Jayden Robertson, Kamden Wood, Kearra Wood, Adelyn Miller and Cillian Robertson; and his siblings, Luanna Maes (Mike) of Lyons, KS, Richard Wood (Saundra) of Woodlands, TX, Dale Wood (Vicki) of Great Bend, KS, Jeanine Link (Howard) of Chase, KS, Teresa Crowl (Jim) of Lyons, KS and David Wood (Tracy) of Chase, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
