She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore and Helen; her husband James J. Harmon of Goessel's Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church; and her siblings, Joanne, Leon and Arylis.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ted, Heleen, Nadine, Kermit and Rose; and her children, Kimberly Ligon (Joel), Marcel Harmon (Michelle) and Chandra Gordon (Rob). She is also survived by her grandchildren; her remaining siblings; and many nieces, nephews, former students, friends.
A burial was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at the Haviland Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity United Christian Church (416 N Washington St, Cheney, KS 67025).
