She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Albers and Virginia Albers; and her brother Edward Albers. She is survived by: her husband David Smalley; her children, Michael Smalley (Jennifer) and Gillian Myers (Mitchell); her grandchildren, Holden Smalley, Rhett Smalley, Adaline Myers, Carsen Smalley, Penelope Myers and Jett Myers; and her siblings, Mary Jane Elpers, Robert Albers, Donald Albers and Gina Hommertzheim.
A rosary was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the St. Rose Catholic Church (4813 NE 150 Ave, Cheney, KS 67025). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Harry Hines Hospice.
