He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert K. Lehner and Martha Lehner (Lorenz); and his siblings, Robert L. Lehner and Kathleen Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Ann Roel (Tom) and Scott Lehner (Martha); his grandchildren, Ben (Jamie), Lauren (Michael), Kurt (Sarah), Amanda, Wyatt and Grant; his great grandchildren, Preslie, Rylie, Lanie, Beau, Sam, Charles, Eleonora, Jericho and Rooney; and his sisters, Karen Dawber and Sharon Kernes.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, Heartland Hospice, and American Legion Post 295 for the Veterans' Memorial Wall.
