She was predeceased by: her father Cliffton G. Lumbley; her sister Debra Hendrix; and her brother-in-law Dennis Hendrix. She is survived by: her husband Joe Long of Cherryvale, Kansas; her mother Mary Lumbley of Independence, Kansas; her daughters, Cari Scott (Darin) of Independence, Megan Menzer (Jeff) of Cherryvale and Tessie Horning (Lee) of Grove, Oklahoma.; her brother Steve Lumbley (Penny) of Cherryvale, Kansas.; her grandchildren, Drake Menzer (Ragan Myers), Lindsay Powell (Tre), Lillian Horning, Abigail Scott, Ellen Horning and Jolee Gleue (Hatten); and her great grandchildren, Bentley Menzer, Maizey Menzer, Kennedee Menzer and Parker Hale.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cherryale United Methodist Church (305 W 3rd St, Cherryvale, KS 67335). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Cherryvale Methodist Church (305 W 3rd St, Cherryvale, KS 67335). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the Fairview Cemetery (427 N Olive St, Cherryvale, KS 67335).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to the Cherryvale Food Bank and may be left or sent to Wickham Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service - 216 East 4th Street, Cherryvale, Kansas 67335.
