He was predeceased by: his mother Karen Bright; his grandparents, Reed, Louise Eikenberry, Vern and Averil Bright; his niece Amanda Fromong; his nephew Scott Fromong; and his brother-in-law Curt Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Cox (Cox); his children, Abigail Bright and Zachary Bright; his father Kerry Bright (Donna); his siblings, Renee Johnson of Copan and Reeda Bidleman (David) of Coffeyville, Kansas.; and his children, Aidan, Taiylor, Kaylin, Kara Bidleman, Kaydence Navarro, Jennifer Johnson-Schultz, Clifton Johnson, Kierstyn, Cali and Collin Cox. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to a college fund established for his two children, may be mailed or left at the funeral home.
