He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl A. Heins and Treva F. Curlis Heins (Curlis); and his grandparents, Avery, Viola Heins, David and Mary Curlis.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis A. Heins (Leedy); his daughters, Brenda K. Heins of Cherryvale and Toni A. Medlock (Todd K.) of Cherryvale; his grandchildren, Ashley Chalupka (AJ), Ashton Lee (Ky) and Trenton Medlock; and his great grandchildren, McKinnley, James Chalupka and Adalyn Lee.
