With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon June Kiister of Cherryvale, Kansas, born in Walnut, Kansas, who passed away on January 4, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Sharon leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Sharon may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Eugene "Gene" Kiister; her son Ron (Julie Kiister); and her parents, Edwin Lundrigan and Fern Beissel (Roberts). She is survived by: her children, Rick Kiister (Donna) and Lori Kiister; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Cody, Casey, Kyle and Jaimee. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
