Thomas A. Elliott Obituary

The passing of Thomas A. Elliott of Chetopa, Kansas occurred on October 24, 2026. Thomas, born on September 4, 1941, shared life with family, friends, and community. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond O. Elliott and Marie E. Elliott (Gilliland); his spouse Shirley "Kay" Mayfield; and his sisters, Sue Canady, Bernice Butler, Nancy Murdock and Velma Cregor.

He is survived by: his children, Greg Elliott (Gail) of Baxter Springs, Phillip Elliott (Shelley) of Towanda, Kansas and Terri Ross (Willard) of Bartlett, Kansas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home (605 Locust St, Chetopa, KS 67336). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (2804 SW Greenlawn Rd, Columbus, KS 66725).
