She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Feuers and Dorothy Feuers (Wade); her husband Larry Birney; and her brother Richard Feuers. She is survived by: her daughters, Thaendra Christenson of Nashville, Jo Birney of Colby and Teresa Atwood (Chris) of Goodland; her grandchildren, Kayla Birney of Denver, Michael Birney of Colby, Rachel Montoya of Denver and Adrian Birney (Kalli) of Colby; and her great grandchildren, Nataly, Aria and Jordan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Swaim Funeral Chapel - Cimarron (919 N 5th St, Cimarron, KS 67835). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Copeland Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Noah's Ark Animal Shelter located in Colby in care of the funeral home.
