It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Louis Wattier of Cimarron, Kansas, born in Yankton, South Dakota, who passed away on March 21, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo Wattier and Loretta Wattier (Dendinger); his wife Viola Marie Wattier; his brothers, Bob and Larry Wattier; and his siblings-in-law, Allen Burbach, Tom Downey, Stan Stateler, Arjean Wattier and Shirley Stateler.

He is survived by : his children, Sean Garrison (Kellie) of Keene, Sharla Garrison of Bucklin and Joannie (John Osborn) of Cimarron; his grandchildren, Zachary, Kristyn, Elizabeth, Shelbey, Stevie, Shawnee, Evan, Emma, Jordan, Janee and Jaira; and his siblings, Tom Wattier (Elaine) of Laurel, Roger Wattier (Trudy) of Beatrice and Barbara Burbach Paulsen (Larry) of Randolph, Nebraska. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the Shepherd's Center in care of the funeral home.
