With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leon A. Oberle (Claflin, Kansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Oberle and Florentine Oberle (Kimpler); his stepfather Tony; his brother Don; and his granddaughter Marie Frizell.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Schremmer; his children, Scott Oberle (Arlene) of Greensburg, Beverly Frizell (Neil) of Great Bend, Troy Oberle (Robin) of De Soto, Amy Allen (Nick) of Council Grove and Bruce Oberle (Sara) of Overland Park; his grandchildren, Chelsea Brown, Ashlin Oshel, Brooke Varela, Javan Oberle, Anna, Robert Frizell, Magdaline Collins, Abby Long, Bailey Langvardt, Shyanne Allen, Emerson, Isaac and Easton Oberle; his great grandchildren, Josephine, Milo Brown, Waylon Oshel and Blakely Collins; and his siblings, Jim Oberle of Bushton, Gerald Oberle of Chase, Mary Herold of Chase and Tony Oberle of Chase.
