Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Linda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen E. Simpson and Joseph D. Simpson; her husband Alfred Hammeke; her son-in-law Dan Hines; and her brother-in-law Eddie Mays.
She is survived by: her sister Judy Simpson Mays. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren: 26 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews: and her card-playing friends.
