It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Coupal (Clay Center, Kansas), who passed away on September 6, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Coupal to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid James farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For James is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Cindy; his son Jacob Benjamin; his parents, Lloyd Coupal and Mildred Coupal; and his sister Sharon Townson.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Welton (Jason) and Aaron. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lincoln Cemetery (505 21st Rd, Clay Center, KS 67432). A reception was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mizpah United Methodist Church (1429 6th Rd, Wakefield, KS 67487).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Jim's preferred charity - the Salina Rescue Mission.
