He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frederick Eggerman and Emma Eggerman (Larson); his wives, Helen J. Morton of Green and Lois Lippert Eggerman; his son Jim Eggerman; and his sisters, Dorothy Asper and Marie Bauer.
He is survived by: his children, Ronda Nelson (Eggerman) and Jeffrey Eggerman (Susan McAndrew); his grandchildren, John Marc Nelson (Stacie Nelson), Pete Nelson (Elena Nelson), Tina Nelson (David Krugler), John Frederich Eggerman (Wendy Eggerman), Emily Eggerman and Nicole Lally; his great grandchildren, Calvin Nelson, Brayden Nelson, Lilliann Nelson, Delaney Nelson and Kierstin Nelson; and his stepsons, Rick Lippert (Gerrie) and Brian Lippert (Kathy). He is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home (303 S Broadway St, Riley, KS 66531). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at the Mayday Cemetery (16790 Fancy Creek Rd, Green, KS 67447).
Memorials may be made to Mayday Cemetery and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
