He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Ohlde and Olga Ohlde (Moddelmog); his siblings, Wayne Ohlde and Mariel Kolle; his brothers-in-law, Norman Kolle and Veryl James; his nephew Andrew James; and his niece Debra Ann Kolle.
He is survived by: his wife Alice of Clay Center; his daughters, Becky Newell of Amarillo, Texas and Susan Carver (Greg) of Winfield, Kansas; his grandchildren, Jacob Newell of Norman, Oklahoma, Abbie Carver of Mill Spring and Dr. Shea Carver of St. Louis, Missouri; and his sisters-in-law, Carole James of Clay Center and Brenda Kruse of Omaha, Nebraska.
