Lorene Fengel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorene Fengel (Clay Center, Kansas), who passed away on September 15, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lorene Fengel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Lash and Marguerite Lash (Rickely); her husband Carl Knuth Fengel, Jr.; her great grandchild Tanner Jefferis; her siblings-in-law, Jean Trumble, Mary Ann Myer, James Trumble (Jimmy) and James Myer; and her friend Betty Spellman.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Louis (Jeanie) of Clay Center, Janis Marie (Ron Jackson) of Oakhill and Janet Suzanne (Don Hedden) of Abilene; her grandchildren, Mandy (Nate Elzinga), Knuth (Jamie Fengel), Kellie Jackson and Jared Hall; her great grandchildren, Maci, Alec Jefferis, Chloe (Ethan Studt), Alisha Waite, Sierra Fengel, Brendon, Trent Knitter, Greyson Cannizzo, Braxton, Kayson, Hadley Gilbert, Everly Cool, Zach (Megan Elzinga) and Amira Elzinga; and her great great grandchildren, Jett Elzinga and Jessie Studt.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rose Meron Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oak Hill Presbyterian Church and can be sent in care of the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home.
