He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Carson and Margaret Carson (Steadman); and his siblings, Jerry Hoss, Marlene Tate and Darlene Empson.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Carson of Clay Center, KS; his children, Mark Carson (Julie) of Clay Center, KS, Michele Lane (Darby) of Clay Center, KS, Scott Helms (Amber Stephenson) of Manhattan, KS and Kevin Helms (Chelsie) of Clay Center, KS.; his siblings, Jeanette Kondratieff (Nick) of Clay Center, KS., Steve Carson of Manhattan, KS., Denise Hamel (Mick) of Miltonvale, KS. and Neal Carson (Lisa) of Wakefield, KS.; his siblings-in-law, Roy Lee Tate (Lynette) of Manhattan, KS., Darwin Beckmann (Donna) of Bremen, KS., Darold Beckmann (Marla) of Bremen, KS., Warren Beckmann of Dallas, TX. and Marlene Land (Tod) of Shawnee, KS.; and his grandchildren, Caleb Carson, Samantha Miller, Dani Carson, Desirrae Taylor, Jonah Zachgo, Maylyn Yarrow, Kwinlee and Brantlee Helms.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home (918 7th St, Clay Center, KS 67432). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (816 9th St, Clay Center, KS 67432).
