He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest William and Pera Aral Bauer (Nemnich); his siblings, Pera Beth Eichelberger (Bill), Greta Alice Pickett (Richard), Lafe, Gail, Wynn and Wade Bauer; and his son-in-law Jonathan Knight.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Fabean (Lawrence), Janet Reznicek (Tom) of Grand Junction, CO and Judith Bauer Knight of Kansas City, MO; and his stepchildren, Janice Fitch (Vicky Fox), Jay Fitch and Jill Davis (Rick). He is also survived by three step-grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
