He is survived by: his children, Randy (Suzi), Kerry (Karen) and Julie (Allen Hamel); his wife Sharil D. Carlson (McMahan); his granddaughter Dana Hagerstrom (Josh); his great grandchildren, Clara, Ruby and Hattie; his grandchildren, Reid, Cord (Dustina) and Haleigh Jung (Ben); his great grandchild Calvin; his grandchildren, Zac, Jake and Brandi Eilert (Josh); his great grandchildren, Brendan, Emri and Tristan; his grandson Jerad Boyd (Kayla); his great grandchildren, Riggs and Ransom; his granddaughter Jordi Langvardt (Brett); his great grandchildren, Braylee, Brynley and Bayler; his grandson Logan (Bethany); his great grandchildren, Miles and Whitt; his grandson Konnor (Anna); his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Haven; his siblings, Doug (Penny), Arlen (Sherry) and Eleanor Hiskey (Bill); and his brothers-in-law, Steve McMahan (Sheryl) and Den McMahan (Sylvia).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home (918 7th St, Clay Center, KS 67432). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Paul Lutheran Church (816 9th St, Clay Center, KS 67432).
