Shawn Rookstool Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shawn Rookstool of Clay Center, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2026 at the age of 57. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Robert and Sondra Marleen Rookstool (Bandy); his wife Amanda; and his siblings, Claudia Cornett, Patricia Cornett, James Cornett and Shane Rookstool.

He is survived by: his children, Sean-Patrick (Xanthippe Schaefer-Rookstool), Hanna (Jason Clayton), Garret (Crystal Schaefer), Kaleb (Hailey Hitsman) and Jaden Rookstool; and his siblings, Robert Rookstool and Linda Olson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
