It is with sadness that the passing of Alvin Jay Lane (Clearwater, Kansas) is shared. Alvin, born on December 12, 1941, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Lane and Velda Edginton Lane; his wife Sue Jean Finney Lane; and his siblings, Lana Lane Szczygiel and Norman Lane.
He is survived by: his friend Tina Hudgens; his children, Toby Lane (Bonnie) and Kathy Dillaha (Darrell Phillips); his stepchildren, Jamie Gray and Glen Terry Gray (Jessica); his grandchildren, Shawna Jernigan (Mark), Drew Dixon (Anna), Kacey Allen (Tyler), Christian Burfield (Jane Anna), Sarah Jane Peach (Bri) and Aaron Lane; his great grandchildren, Kinley Allen, Lincoln Sedgwick, Lilly Sedgwick, Arlee Joy Allen, Layla Burfield, Emerson Peach, Donovan Dixon and Adelina Dixon; and his pets, Duffy and Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home (241 W Main St, Lebanon, TN 37087). A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Clearwater Cemetery (534 N Tracy Ave, Clearwater, KS 67026).
