He was predeceased by: his wife Dorma Charles (Smith); his parents, Frank Charles Jr. and Opal Fowler; his son Walter Scott; and his siblings, James Charles, Opal Schreiner and Mary Edmondson.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Charles of Wichita, Denise Drescher of Wichita and Darren Scott (Denise) of Titusville, FL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.
