Though Jack may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jack touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his wife Darlene Smothers (Miller); his parents, Albert Smothers and Bernice Smothers (O'Neal); and his daughter Deborah. He is survived by: his son Stephen Smothers (Cathleen) of Clearwater, KS; and his siblings, Keith Smothers of Gladstone, MO, Dick Smothers (Connie) of St. Joseph, MO and Jeanne Italiaander (David) of Ridgewood, NJ. He is also survived by four grandsons; nineteen great grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.
