We announce the death of James Samuel Flippin (Clearwater, Kansas), who passed away on August 12, 2026, at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Flippin (Braun); his parents, John Flippin and Grace Flippin (Reed); his siblings, Clifton, Hugh, Dorothy, Bernice and Lola; his daughter Barbara Suderman; and his grandson Spenser Flippin.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Flippin (Joann) of Pigeon Falls, TN, David Flippin of Lawrence, KS, John Flippin of Wichita, KS and Jennifer Flippin (Scott McDaniel) of Lawrence, KS. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
