It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Earle Hughes of Clearwater, Kansas, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Kenneth had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Kenneth may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Hughes and Margaret Hughes (Costa); his daughter Kara Jack (Hughes); and his brother Edmond Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Hughes (Tackkett); his children, Barry Hughes (Cindy) of Bend, OR, Melissa Dennehy (Kyle) of Denver, CO and Juston Harbert (Rebecca Carter) of Wichita, KS; and his sister-in-law Pauline Hughes. He is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Clearwater Cemetery (534 N Tracy Ave, Clearwater, KS 67026).
