He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton and Waunita of Newton; and his siblings, Loretta Loomis of Newton and Tony of Wichita. He is survived by: his children, Steve (Debra Spring) of Wichita, Keith (Cheryl Thompson) of Rosehill, Shawn Decker of Clearwater and Amy (Rodney Emery) of Clearwater.

In leu of flowers, donations noted as "missions" are requested through Crossroads Baptist Church.
