She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter T. Voth and Lydia Jantz Voth; her husband Marvin Carl Shafer; her daughters, Susan Shafer and Cynthia Shafer; her grandchildren, Greg Larson, Ryan Haney and Anna Larson Funk; and her great grandchild Kamilah Denmond.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth (Mary Ellen Shafer), Jeffrey Shafer of Coats, Stanley (Lavonna Shafer), Nancy (Norm Mick), Jeanette (Rod Haney), Christine Byrd of Winfield and Wendy Palmer of Coats. She is also survived by Twenty-seven Grandchildren, Fifty-one Great-Grandchildren and one Great-Great-Grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Price & Sons Funeral Home (401 S Washington St, Scott City, KS 67871). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
