With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Dodson of Coffeyville, Kansas, who passed away on March 16, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilton P. Dodson and Myrtle M. Dodson (Walker); and his sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Strickland, Thelma Fortenbury and Mary Watkins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kristina Sterling (Jeff) and Kim Kennedy (Joseph Lafon); his grandchildren, Haley, Rebecca, Melissa, Jed, Chase and Colin; and his siblings, Edward "Sonny" Dodson (Dixie), Patty Phillips and Shirley Ernst. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
