Elmer Diver Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Diver (Coffeyville, Kansas), who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elmer Diver to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo H. "Dick" Diver and Opal Mae Diver (Bryant); his siblings, Frances Diver, Betty Wright, Everett Diver, Delbert Diver and John Diver; and his grandson Tyson Diver.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Casey Diver of Yates Center, Tracy Diver (Paula) of Wellington, Randy Diver (Marcy) of Independence, Theresa Kuffler (Mike) of Newkirk and David Diver (Julie) of Reno, Nevada; his brother Eldon Diver of El Dorado, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Kimberly Chambers (Thomas), Michelle Stringer (Josh), Amy Butler (Nathan), Clint Diver, Corey Diver, John Kuffler (Nicole), Tommy Kuffler, Luke Kuffler (Jordan), Sarah Oshakuade (Tony), Amanda Diver and Emily Diver. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home (306 N Cline Rd, Coffeyville, KS 67337). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holy Name Catholic Church (408 Old Willow St, Coffeyville, KS 67337). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Owl Creek Cemetery (2321 70th Rd, Yates Center, KS 66783).
The family suggests memorials in Elmer's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society; contributions may be left with or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
