Eugene Despaw Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2023, at the age of 89, Eugene Despaw (Coffeyville, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Despaw and Beulah Despaw; his wife Bonnie Despaw; and his siblings, Dale, Wayne, Stanley Jr., Beverly and Janet.
He is survived by : his daughters, Melanie Baker (Gary) of Longview, Texas and Nicole Young of Branson, Missouri; his brother Allen Despaw, Sr. of Wolcott; his stepdaughters, Carrie Johnson of Springfield, Missouri, Brenda West (David) of Coffeyville, Kansas and Kathy Pitts (Chuck) of Coffeyville, Kansas; his close friend Brenda Hamm of Trenton; and his pets, Tracy and Miracle. He is also survived by Momma; 23 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a pet rescue of your choice; contributions may be left with or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
