He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Lillie P. Stephens; his children, Ebonie Hardy (Leo) and Justin Strickland (Jan); his stepchildren, KJ Metcalf, Jessica Pearson (Travis), Antonio Smith and Brittany Smith; his sisters, Tonya Stephens (Roger Martin), Annette Porter (Brent Hardrick) and Lisa Stephens (Leroy Alcox); his uncle Charles Stephens; his parent Lillie Mosely; his wife Lapetra Stephens; and his grandparents, Ray and Helen Stephens. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home (306 N Cline Rd, Coffeyville, KS 67337). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the First Church of God in Christ (2300 W 1st St, Coffeyville, KS 67337).
