She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval J. Staton and Maryellen Staton (Wallingford). She is survived by: her husband Jim Owen; her children, Sarah Owen of Coffeyville and Michael Owen (Afton) of Niotaze; her grandchildren, Kale Owen and Addison Owen of Niotaze; and her siblings, Sandi Edmundson of Gladstone and Jim Staton of Coffeyville.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donation in Julie's memory to the Coffeyville Public Library or Coffeyville Friends of Animals; contributions may be left with or mailed in care of David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, KS 67337.
