He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Birzer and Eleanor Birzer (Rupp); his wife Betty Kraft (Kraft); his daughter Roxanne; and his granddaughter Ashley Murray.

He is survived by : his children, Mitchell, Mitch (Anita) of Nortonville, KY and Staci Murray (Kevin) of Manhattan, KS; his grandchildren, Justin Murray (Allie) of Wichita, KS, Bethany Murray of Wichita, KS, Danielle Birzer of Phoenix, AZ and Jackson Birzer of Nortonville, KY; and his great grandchildren, Hudson Murray and Cohen Murray.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Sacred Heart Church at 585 N. French Ave or the Senior Progress Center, 165 Fike Park St. Colby, KS.
