With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doreen Mendenhall of Colby, Kansas, who passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joe Fink and Helen Fink; and her spouse J. L. Mendenhall. She is survived by : her daughters, Connie Guernsey (Dick) of Parks, NE, Pam Mendenhall (Terry Selbe) of Goodland, KS, Terri Simon (Kelly) of Bentonville, AR and Cindy Rasmussen (Terry) of Colby, KS. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Later Doreen became active in volunteer work with the RSVP program.
