He was predeceased by : his parents, Chester Fishel and Catherine Fishel; his siblings, MaryAnn, Victor and Mike; and his daughters, Carla and Terri.

He is survived by : his wife Pauline Edna Dean of Colby; his son Darren Fishel (Gina) of Salina, KS; his grandchildren, Jason Centner of Texas, Hannah Bandy (Brett) of Colby, Alexis Nelson of Salina, KS and Dillon Fishel of Portland, OR; his great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Zoey and Teddy Bandy; and his siblings, Gloria, Tim, Sybil, Jenny, Joy and Ronnie.
