Joan Helen Ziegler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2024, at the age of 86, Joan Helen Ziegler of Colby, Kansas, born in Grand Island, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph William and Anna Ambrose (Marfica); her husband Leroy Ziegler; her siblings, Katherine Lacy, Donald and Archie Ambrose; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Lacy, Harvey Meyer, Donald Ziegler, Aloysius Huelsman, Marlene Ambrose and Irene Huelsman.
She is survived by : her children, Margo Baker (Brady) of Weston, MO, Marla Crumrine (Willard) of Brewster, KS, Marc Ziegler (Casy) of Bennington, KS, Marsha Ziegler of Wichita, KS and Marlyn Ziegler (Laurie) of Lawrence, KS; her sister Irene Meyer; her sister-in-law Betty Ambrose; and her close friend Marj Robben. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Joan was also a member of the Colby VFW Auxiliary, Epsilon Chi Sorority, RSVP, and served on the board of the Regional Prevention Center.
