John W. Jacobs Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John W. Jacobs of Colby, Kansas, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John W. Jacobs to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse Jacobs and Germaine Jacobs (Richard); his sisters, Madeleine Gravener, Jessie Owens-Enfield and Fern Colton; his brothers-in-law, Charles Gravener, Warren Owens, Charles Colton and Bud Enfield; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Cross and Hudson Kouba.

He is survived by : his wife Rosalie Shull of Colby; his children, Lynn Jacobs (Pat) of Junction City, Teresa Rogge (Van) of Kingfisher, OK, Denise Yount of Lincoln, NE, Suzanne Herschberger (Dale) of Colby, Jesse Jacobs (Bethany) of Osborne and Matthew Jacobs (Kristal) of Smithville, MO; and his grandchildren, John Rogge, Eric Rogge, Chris Jacobs, Jamie Roath, Dustin Herschberger, Crystal Luedke, Amanda Shaffer, Holly Cross, Melissa Cross, Sarah Kouba, Chance Jacobs and Audrey Jacobs. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
