She was predeceased by: her father Frank Flax; and her brother William Flax. She is survived by: her husband Larry J. Heier; her children, Sarah Toennis (Alex) of Austin, TX, Peter Heier of Salina, KS, Regina Chriestenson (Trent) of Iola, KS and Joseph Heier of Manhattan, KS; her grandchildren, Taylor, Elizabeth Chriestenson, Tatum and Tenley Toennis; and her siblings, Helen Herl (Dave) and Steve Racette (Diann). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
