He was predeceased by: his parents, H. L. Wieland and Katherine Ann Wieland; his wife Thelma Ann; and his son-in-law Alan Nichols. He is survived by: his children, JoAnn Nichols, Jeanette Wieland and Eugene Wieland; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Brett Mead, Thomas, Hannah Wieland, Alicia Nichols and William Nichols; and his great grandchildren, Hendrix, Zenni, Izadore, Nyxie, Dallas, Eva and Olivia.
