He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Booth and Effie Booth (Maltby); his son Ricky Lynn Booth; and his siblings, Lester Booth, Robert Booth, Mabel Hadley, Amy Ring and Rowena Snyder.

He is survived by : his former life partner Irma Davis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
