She was predeceased by: her father Lloyd Malone; and her fiancé Mike Allen. She is survived by: her children, Justin Williams (Crystal) and Jamie Gifford (Chris); and her grandchildren, Colton Linden (Mariah), Tim Williams (Lexi), Christa Williams, Jonah Ndungu, Joshua Ndungu, Kaedence McKee, Madeline Gifford, Braedon Gifford and Evan Gifford. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home (206 N Philadelphia Ave, Coldwater, KS 67029). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the Crown Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Joann requested that loved ones "pay it forward" anonymously by doing something kind for someone outside their circle or make a memorial contribution to youth groups in Comanche County.
