She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Wedeman and Evelyn Wedeman; her sisters, Zola Summers and Zona Wiley; and her husband Cecil Powell.
She is survived by: her sons, Mitch Powell (Nancy) and Wayne Powell (Cindy). She is also survived by three grandsons; eight great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Heartland Meadows Activity fund, Iola, Kansas and can be left in the care of the funeral home.
