Duane leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Duane’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Duane will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dwight T. Ramsey and Ardella Boysen Ramsey; his wife Betty Jones; his sons, Doug of Colony and Dana of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.; his grandchild Christian Brook Ramsey of Chapel Hill; and his stepgrandson Colby Merrett of Yulee, Florida..
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Colony Cemetery (11896 SW Jefferson Rd, Colony, KS 66015).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Colony First Responders and left in care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service.
