He was predeceased by : his wife Gwendolyn Elaine Cantrell; his parents, Charles Martin Cantrell Sr. and Leona May Sikes (Cantrell); and his stepfather Virgil Sikes. He is survived by : his stepsister Louise Williams of Miami, Oklahoma; his children, Charles Cantrell (Beth) of St. Louis, Missouri, Kevin Cantrell of Joplin, Missouri, Russell Cantrell (Melody) of Wichita, Kansas, Barbara Cantrell of Columbus, Kansas and Katheryn Durand (Daniel) of Thompson, Connecticut.; and his grandchildren, Eryn Cantrell (Jessica), Laci Cantrell, Matthew Cantrell (Jade), Laura Poglayen (Chris), Jacob Cantrell (Becca), Shannon Cantrell, Jared Durand (Kelsey) and Lauryn Durand.
