He was predeceased by: his parents, Oral Deckard and Lena Belle Deckard (Lloyd); his wife Melanie Gribble; his siblings, Hazel and Bud; and his nephew Ryan Delmont.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Haraughty (Karen) of Arma, KS, Troy Haraughty (Luecrita) of Columbus, KS, Michelle Combs (Brian) of Columbus, KS, David Deckard (Wendy) of Riverton, KS and Tammy Tripp; his sisters, Shirley Crain of Columbus, KS and Beverly Martin of McCune, KS; and his pet Memphis. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Because of Lloyd's love for hunting and fishing, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given and made payable to the Cherokee County Sportsman Fish & Game Association (a non-profit dedicated to fostering relationships and outdoor activities for all age groups) and these may be left at or mailed to Derfelt Funeral Home at 132 E.
