He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Jean Noblitt Lam (Edward Olen Lam Jr.) and Bill; his sister Sheila Lam Dale Rhodes; and his pet Bella. He is survived by: his children, MaLia Merrick (Woodman Hayes) of Independence, Kansas, Lance Merrick (Nicholas Bideler) of St. Louis, Missouri and Cody Merrick (Andrea) of Frontenac, Kansas; his pet Brownie; his grandchildren, Jason James of New York City, Ethan of Frontenac, Kansas., Harlee of Frontenac, Kansas. and Finley Merrick of Frontenac, Kansas.; his nieces, Misty Stidham of El Reno and Christy Murrow of Dacoma; and his pets, Barley, Bennett and Biscuit.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Assembly of God Church in memory of Bill Merrick. Keep William's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
