She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Hemmen and Ruth Hemmen (Maus); and her husband Reinard Simon. She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Gruenbacher (Dennis), Debbie Baier (Vic), Kevin Simon, Phil Simon (Mary), Tim Simon (Grace), Ted Simon (Sandy), Janie Wells (Max), Laurie Martin (Russell) and Kurt Simon (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Shelley Stucky (Gruenbacher), Brent Gruenbacher, Jared, Alan Baier, Lindsey Bell, Lacy Eck, Carly Sturm, Cody Simon, Jesse, Clint Simon, Kristin Speets, Ashlee Martinez, Sadie Eck, Trent, Sawyer Simon, Brandi, Ethan Simon, Nicole Metzen, Clete Wells, Evan, Logan, Jaden Martin, Austin, Kylee and Allison Simon; and her siblings, John Hemmen and MaryLou Hilger. She is also survived by her 48 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
