He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Judson Fletcher, Loretta Careswell, Dorothy Careswell, Pauline, Carl McBeath and Vern Fowler.

He is survived by: his parents, Beverly J. Careswell (Fowler) and Judson Careswell, Jr. (New Mexico); and his sister Dena (Travis Moore). He is also survived by dogs or his kids.

A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside St., Wichita, KS 67219.
