He was predeceased by : his parents, Merle H. Lavoie and Betty D. Lavoie (Hess); and his brother Ted. He is survived by : his sister Dixie Trost (Bud); and his sister-in-law Kathy Lavoie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, family and friends.

The family suggests that friends donate to their favorite charity in Billy's honor.
